MONTREUX JAZZ FESTIVAL
HISTORICAL ANECDOTES
LEAD RESEARCH PROJECT CONTENT DESIGN
THE PROJECT
In the project to bring the archive of the Montreux Jazz Festival back to life, its incredible story cannot go unnoticed. This story is made of a myriad of anecdotes tied to all the artists who have walked its stages over the past 50 years, and become a part of this one-of-a-kind summer event. I wanted to create a project that would unite the recoverable anecdotes and tell all the unique stories of the Montreux Jazz Festival. This project was developed with EPFL’s Metamedia Lab who led the digitization of the festival’s archives, 2 archivists and a team of 4 people who gathered more than 600 original anecdotes from the archive.
